It allows for the tending of your logs to perfection without necessarily requiring moving the firescreen away from the opening. But if a more angled approach is necessary the 2 handles make that adjustment a breeze. The 2 vertical bars reinforce the mesh screening and therefore allow for customization in size to fit a larger opening. A functional beauty! Available in our finishes appropriate for this usage.
